I’m not entirely sure how I feel about being introduced at networking events as Mrs AI – but it does mean people know who to talk to. Since founding Dandelion Applied AI, I’ve become known for helping SMEs, solopreneurs and charities make sense of AI tools – and put them to work in ways that feel ethical, practical and, above all, doable.
After 25 years in business and marketing - including 10+ years in leadership roles - I know how much pressure there is to make change happen with limited time and resource. AI can help, but only when it’s introduced with the right mix of training, support and structure.
My focus is on safe, confident AI adoption. I’ve trained over 100 organisations so far, with consistently five-star reviews and regular repeat bookings. Clients value the blend of leadership experience, change management expertise, and up-to-date AI knowledge I bring to every session.
Luckily I love to learn - because with AI it can be a daily necessity. Not so helpful, when they release a new feature just before you train.
I like a mix of formal qualifications, short courses, expert webinars, reading papers and daily experimentation to get the results. Here are a few highlights:
I’m not a developer - I’m here to help teams make the most of AI tools like ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot. I've spent a lot of time learning, so I can show you what works for businesses and charities.
Before starting Dandelion, I worked across the public, private and charity sectors - including senior roles in national programmes and purpose-led organisations. That mix gave me experience of what makes change work - and where things often get stuck.
My early career focused on marketing and many new technological advancements, including one of the first websites to use google map technology and early social listening projects.
Based in rural Warwickshire, I really enjoy village life and being out in the countryside walking or on horseback. Otherwise, I'm a big fan of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, a meal at a nice pub, and travelling (well, holidays nowadays).
