About Dandelion Applied AI

A mechanical dandelion sculpture with intricate metallic petals and circuits.

We help businesses use Copilot and other AI tools properly. Since starting in 2024, we’ve trained hundreds of people. We started off delivering webinars and bookable courses; we now mainly deliver in-company programmes

We deliver workshops on behalf of other organisations, for example, leading AI Business Essentials for the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber Business Support programme. Caroline Broadway, our director, also regularly speaks at conferences and events.

Our approach

Whatever we’re doing, our approach is:

  • AI as an assistant, not a replacement for people
  • Ethical and responsible use at the core of every session
  • Workshops that are practical, interactive and fun

Whether offering a strategic overview for the senior leadership team or providing hands-on training for those nervous about the tech, we tailor every session to your organisation.

Our AI tools

AI is changing fast. We focus on a few AI tools to ensure we can stay current. We regularly check for updates and look at how new features apply to businesses we work with.

Most businesses we work with use Microsoft 365 Copilot as a primary tool. They usually use a mix of the included version and paid licences. Copilot runs using OpenAI (ChatGPT) and Anthropic (Claude) models, so we work across all three.

Who we work with

We mainly work with growing businesses across Warwickshire, the West Midlands and London. Typically, they have teams of 10 to 200+ people - manufacturers are often bigger, as it is usually their office-based teams.

We work with a range of sectors, as we can tailor our training to their business. This includes professional services, membership organisations, manufacturing, public sector and charities.

Where we work

We are based near Coventry. Most of the businesses we work with are based in Warwickshire (Leamington Spa, Southam, Rugby and Warwick), the West Midlands (Coventry, Birmingham, Solihull and Wolverhampton) or London.

We are well located to travel to quite a wide area, mostly in under an hour. We are close to the Oxfordshire and Northampton border.

Working in partnership

We work with your IT partner or team. We don’t do tech integrations or audits – we leave that to the experts. Our role is helping your team build skills, adopt AI safely, and get more value from the tools you already have.

Our Director - Caroline Broadway

Caroline brings a breadth of business experience and AI knowledge, including the IBM Professional Certificate in Applied AI. Her background allows her to focus on business benefits and connect with a non-technical audience.
